Cuddly Sir Robin

Clay Aiken and the Sir Robin Bear

Sir Robin and Sir Robin …………which one is the cutest,  Clay Aiken or the bear??  Personally, I couldn’t vote on that one.

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids is preparing for one of the most entertaining fund-raisers of the year: The Broadway Bears Auction. The event, scheduled for February 15th will be held at the B.B. King Blues Club.

The auction features cuddly, one-of-a-kind teddy bears. Some of the leading costume designers on Broadway outfit the bears in original, handmade costumes that represent memorable characters from the many plays and musicals from the past to the present.

This is the 12th year that the Broadway Bears have been auctioned off. The bears are so beautiful that 10 of them are housed at The Museum of The City of New York.

The North American Bear Company helps in this event by donating hundreds of bears that start out bare and become beautiful works of art.

  1. Musicfan,

What a cutie! The Sir Robin Bear is not bad either, LOL!

  2. Um, let’s see, I guess I’m undecided (but leaning toward the cuddly one in the bow tie)

Hope that Broadway Cares has a successful bear auction this year!!! Another great cause!!

  3. I agree the bear is cute, but comparing him to Clay Aiken – NO CONTEST!! Clay wins everytime!!

    Thanks for posting!

  4. I didn’t realize these bears were so big.

Cute guy and cute bear. I hope that the auction does well this year too.

  5. How adorable! Didn’t the Sir Robin Bear last year take in the most money for BCEFA than any of the other bears? I am sure this one will also!

  6. Not only did last year’s Sir Robin Bear bring in the highest bid, but it brought in the third highest bid in the history of the auction.
Then the winner donated it to TBAF to be auctioned at their Gala last fall.

  7. I can’t wait to see how much Clay raises this year for this worthwhile organization. They are both adorable!
What a wonderful person he is to raise so much for so many charitable events.

  8. What a couple of cuties!! Last year I think that the Sir Robin bear made the most money. Sure wish I could bid. Hope this one does well–it’s for a good cause.

  9. Are we seriously voting on who is the cutest? I feel sorry for the bear because he doesn’t stand a chance!!!

  10. Please don’t tell me I have to pick just one! I can’t….I won’t…..OK, I’ll pick the cute, taller one!

  11. Hmmmm….Sir Clay or Sir Bear….okay, here’s my final answer: the one wearing the glasses!
The one in costume is cute too!
