Clay Aiken – Can We Help?

Being a fan of Clay Aiken is a unique and exciting experience.  His fans are amazing in their support of Clay, the performer, but are also proud to support his philanthropic endeavors.

The last few weeks have been very busy for the Clay fans that are active on the internet.  There are so many opportunities to show support for Clay that sometimes fans have to choose what they can do to help.  Maybe this list will help you make some choices.

America’s Giving Challenge

From Aron Hall at the National Inclusion Project:

The National Inclusion Project just entered in America’s Giving Challenge, which gives us a chance to win $50,000! To win, between now and November 7th we have to get the most donations to our cause (every person can donate once per day between 3pm and 2:59pm the next day and have it count as a unique donation). We can also win daily awards of $1,000 and $500 if we can get the most people to donate in any 24-hour period. The great thing about this Challenge is that it doesn’t matter how much you give, but instead how much you do to encourage friends and family to get involved in our cause. We all need to come together and start promoting the cause if we want to win.

Each of us has tons of friends on Facebook who we can ask to donate to our cause. But let’s think big too—can you put our cause in your email signature, can you throw a party and get people to donate through the cause when they enter, can you organize other people to go out and fundraise from all of their friends? As you reach out to your friends be sure to tell them why this cause matters to you. The possibilities are endless so let’s talk about what we can do to win on the Wall of the cause or by replying to this bulletin.

I think we can do it! But it’s going to take all of us. Check out the Giving Challenge ( www.causes.com ), then visit our cause to see how we’re doing so far and get involved.

Let’s win $50,000 for our cause!

  1. Amazing!! I am so proud to be a fan of Clay Aiken. I miss his music and humor, but I am happy to support him and his causes.

Thank you for putting this all in one place….having the links is great too.

I don't post often, but I read here every day and it is always filled with interesting things!!

  2. Thank you CANN for putting all the links in one place.

Sure is lots to do, being a Clay fan….and lots of ways to help charities near and dear to Clay's heart…… He is such a good, caring young man.

I'd much rather be doing this, than voting on some dumb AI thing, which benefits no one…other than the people that get paid for hits……on their sites…. Serves no purpose other than making those people money….I'd rather be working for a cause……

    This is great.
    Hugs,
    Judy

  3. WHOA!!! I've been BUSY!!! 😉 Clay has opened my eyes to many wonderful causes, and I truly appreciate that. I've become more altruistic by following his example.

Looking forward to helping worthwhile causes more while waiting (im)patiently for Clay to be back on my TV, back in the recording studio and back touring (not necessarily in that order)

  4. I love seeing all these good things about Clay Aiken and his foundation and seeing it all here in one place is greatly appreciated especially having all the links.

Clay can't wait to see you.

  5. Musicfan,

    Have a great day!

    • Working for charity is rewarding on its own but Clay Aiken and his fans have found ways to make it fun!

  6. My head is spinning. There's a lot going on right now. I enjoy helping with anything I can that will help out in some way. I have voted on The Christy Cookie's Site and will be donating to America's Giving Challenge. Couldn't make it for the Gala…but I know we will be getting lots of Clack..so I am excited about that. Now, there are so many things to keep us busy till Clay is back out there again. I enjoy every bit of it.

  12. I support the National Inclusion Project 100% not because it is a Clay Aiken project, but because their mission is the right thing to do. Yeah for all of the success!!

    • I totally agree, but I'm glad Clay's heart is in not excluding anyone and that he was led to get this started. For years people with disabilities were shut in and shut out. I support NIP also, a worthy and needed cause. MAE

  14. I will continue to support all Clay's endeavors for inclusion in the world! What a beautiful singer and human being.

  15. It's wonderful to see Clay Aiken's achievements for his charity work making headlines. It's been a great month so far..and it's just started. I'm sure I'm not the only one still recruiting for the National Inclusion Project fundraiser at Christie Cookies 🙂

  16. When the Clay Nation comes together it's wonderful to see the good we can do. I'm so proud of us for leading the Cookie contest and putting the National Inclusion Project in an excellent position to win the $10,000 award.
