Clay Aiken – The Buzz Continues

It has been four day since it was announced that Clay Aiken would be a guest on the popular television show, Drop Dead Diva. The press coverage of this collaboration was huge at the beginning and is still going strong.

The Advocate.com is the digital version of the print magazine.  It covers LGBT news, politics entertainment and editorial opinions.  On Friday, the Advocate wrote a short mention of Clay’s appearance on Drop Dead Diva:

Clay Aiken and Lance Bass are among the out performers who’ll guest-star on a ripped-from-the-headlines episode of the hit series Drop Dead Diva.

The Lifetime series about a vapid model reincarnated into the plus-size body of a savvy attorney (Brooke Elliott) will feature an episode inspired by the true story of Constance McMillen, the teenager denied access to her high school prom due to her sexual orientation.

Drop Dead Diva was created by Josh Berman, who executive produces with Alex Taub,  Craig Zadan and Neil Meron.  The series costars Wanda Sykes and Margaret Cho. Aiken and Bass will make guest appearances in the prom episode, alongside the real-life McMillen.

The episode is scheduled to be broadcast July 10.

  1. the above picture is a little strange to me. there is something i can't put my finger on but I don't like it lol.

    • I guess one must remember that the picture is from a phone so the coloring, etc. are going to be off. I am glad that we got at least one picture!!

      • Of course……..it reminded me of how Clay looked when he was on stage on Broadway. Make-up for stage ans screen is important, especially for people with light colored hair and skin.

I am just so glad to see his beautiful smile that I don't worry about unimportant stuff!!

  2. I admit that I have not been watching Drop Dead Diva. I have been playing catch up on line and am now up to episode 8 of season 1. I am now hooked. It is an amazing show and I do hope it continues on for many years.
That is a great photo! Thank you for posting it here!

  3. I am really looking forward to this episode of Drop Dead Diva!! Love Wanda Sykes, love Lance Bass and, well, I kind of like that Clay Aiken guy too 😉

  4. So excited to watch that episode!! Looks like Clay got a haicut in that above photo! I could be wrong though~

  5. I am so excited to see Clay on this fun show. I am sure he will be great. Thanks for always bringing us all the news! I can always count on this site to keep me in the know!!

  6. I think Clay looks Drop Dead Gorgeous in that picture. This picture isn't the best…you should go to Clay Street…you can click it twice and they took some of the coloring out..and Clay is a hunk. I love the eyes, hair, suit, shoulders, smile…everything about him. Can't wait to see him on the show on July 10.
