Clay Aiken – Then and Now

This week on American Idol, the theme is Now & Then. That means tonight, the Idols will have to sing two songs: one current song and one song from the 1960s.

Well, Clay Aiken does not belong on American Idol this year, but I still can’t help but think of him as I think of this theme.  What do you think??

  1. I just have to say that Clay has matured very nicely….

Thanks for the 2 clips of Build me up Buttercup. It's always nice to see Clay from the beginning to now…Yup..He's doing just fine.

  2. It's not even 7:00 am and here I am watching Clay's Build Me Up Buttercup, then and now.
    Just wonderful. Thank you.

    • Putting this blog together was so much fun…….I could have gone on forever!!

      Thanks for adding your comment!!

  3. 🙂 He was spectacular then and he's even more spectacular now. Not only has he matured into a very handsome man, his voice has also matured into a spectacular instrument.

    Thanks!

  4. All I know is….he was great on AI….but, now he is awesome and he has matured into the most handsome man. That voice is the best I have ever heard. Sure enjoyed all the pictures and the 2 video's though. Your blogs are always something to look forward to.

  5. Those then and now photos are amazing. The Ruben and Clay ones made me chuckle. Very cute. Clay was a phenomenal singer/showman then and continues to be one now, plus and then some. Great comparisons!

  6. I was only seven years old when I was watching Clay on Idol, my parents never understood why I started to like him at a young age but I did! Clay has matured very well and it is so great to see the then and now of Mr.Clay Aiken. Thanks for the post!! I love it 🙂

  7. Thanks for the memory pictures!! I agree with everyone…Clay just gets better and better each year..if that's possible! Love reading the post of the two young girls who fell 'in love' with Clay and
are still huge fans. It just takes one time, and we're hooked!!!
