The Capitol Theatre has an interesting history. According to their website:
Constructed and established in 1921 as the Capitol Theatre (Royalty Theatre 1982-2008), this classic structure, complete with a large mezzanine and furnishings reminiscent of a classic Hollywood theater, is one of the oldest operating theatres in the state of Florida.
The Capitol Theatre reportedly had its beginnings as a vaudeville theater and movie house, and was once the home of famous headliners who displayed their legendary talents (making history in the process) on the polished wood planks of the Capitol’s stage. In its hey-day, the walls of this famed theatre housed many of the best entertainers in the world.
The City of Clearwater and Ruth Eckerd Hall have joined forces to renovate and revitalize the historic Capitol Theatre located on downtown Clearwater’s beautiful Cleveland Street. This project is part of the plan to re-energize downtown Clearwater, and the theatre is an integral part of the unique character of the area.
The theatre seats 655 people. Clearwater is in the Tampa Bay area.
Clay and Ruben Studdard performed in Clearwater on July 26, 2010 as part of their Timeless Tour. They performed at the Ruth Eckerd Hall.

Those are some fantastic, awesome, witty and funny, first-rate entertainment videos! Clay and Ruben are an amazing singing, dancing and banter duo. Their friendship is evident throughout. I too loved everything about that concert. Clay's high notes were phenomenal. Eagerly anticipating more.
I checked the calendars of all the venues where Clay has performed within a 3 hr drive of Columbus, OH, and so far nothing showes up for a Christmas Concert by Clay. Oh please come to Ohio Clay! Thanks for posting those wonderful clips of the Timeless tour. Brings back good memories.
Hi! can you tell me which other Florida city Clay is going to tour in? Somehow I must have missed that email. I live in Sarasota so of course, I am going to that one and I will probably do the Clearwater one also but if the third FL city is close I may do all three!

OOOH LA LAAAA! I live in Florida..and we can probably make the Clearwater Concert. I think it is a 2 1/2 hour drive..and it starts at 7PM. That way we won't get home too late. With only 655 seats…there shouldn't be a bad seat in the house. EEEEEEEEEE!!!!

I put in my Wisconsin zip code and it said two others had requested him too. I found that interesting since I seem to be the only one from my area in the fan club. What do you know about Clay's "myspace" page? I stumbled on it by accident but all the data is from 2010. Is it legit?
