It is always fun to report exciting news about Clay Aiken. Monday brought the news two more Joyful Noise Concerts and details about the VIP Auctions for each tour stop.
Although I posted the concerts when the information was announced, I thought it would be fun to get a bit more information about the new concerts, the venue and the area.
I can’t think of a more beautiful place to have a Joyful Noise Concert than Beaver Creek, Colorado. Beaver Creek is a modern resort area with the feeling of an alpine village. In the winter it is an active ski center.
The village is made up of many shops, restaurants and spas. It even has an outdoor ice rink. The beautiful Vilar Performing Arts Center is right in the village. According to the Vilar Center website:
The Vilar Center for the Arts is a spectacular state-of-the-art center in Vail, Colorado, boasting a 530 seat theater, two 2,200 square-foot lobbies and the May Gallery Patrons Lounge, which hosts an amazing display of 17th and 18th century architectural watercolors. The center first opened in 1998, and offers a cultural center for the Beaver Creek area and hosts events and exhibitions all year round. Tourists and locals alike are welcome!

Lakeland is a city in Polk County, Florida, and is located between Tampa and Orlando. Lakeland is a city of many lakes. There are 38 named lakes in Lakeland.
Lakeland’s historic Polk Theatre opened in December 1928 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. A $1.5 million restoration project in the 1990s brought a return of the theater’s original appearance, which was modeled after an Italian Renaissance courtyard.
Like other atmospheric theaters designed to give the appearance of being outdoors, stars twinkle over the heads of theatergoers while clouds appear to float by as well on the ceiling. On August 6, 1956 Elvis performed at the Polk Theatre. While at the Polk Theatre, Elvis signed his name to the third floor dressing room wall.

Hi gaymaraie1 I'm going three already but still thinking about a forth. Not sure yet, sure would hate to miss it. Going to West Palm Beach for the first one. I have never been to one of Clays shows before so I can't wait.

Christmas Shows that Clay always put out there for us. I will be going to the Detroit Show with
Son, dayghter-in-law, and grandson (8yr). his very first concert!! Very excited!
