Clay Aiken – State Fairs, Arenas, and Casinos!

During the last week,  one of Clay Aiken’s busy fans posted a set of YouTube videos.  They are from the West Springfield, MA stop of the Solo tour.  Clay Aiken and his tour stopped in West Springfield on September 19, 2004.

The Solo Tour was sponsored by Disney and included stops at state fairs, arenas, and casinos.  It had over fifty performances.

The West Springfield concert was special for several reasons. First, it was very cold and Clay wore a coat almost the entire concert…it was also different because it was the last concert of the tour.  The cast and crew had lots of fun pulling pranks on each other throughout the concert.  However, it still was an amazing concert.

I hope you enjoy these videos.  If you want to see more of the concert, visit YourTube and see lots more from Wowzers4Clay

Did you have a chance to see this tour?

If so, where did you see it!

  1. Yes, I saw it in Cleveland, Ohio! Absolutely great! My start of being a "serious fan"!!!! <3

Thank you for remembering and posting the fabulous videos!! 🙂

  2. It's very early in my house and I want to watch these again, so I'll wait till I get home this afternoon to play them at full volume!! You can't hear them soft, lol! I loved this coat!!! I never attended these early tours, so living through "clack" is second best. Thanks musicfan!

  3. I did see this tour, and I caught the Clio, MIchigan concert. Loved it, and have loved every tour!!

  9. I did indeed see this concert at the Ohio State Fair in Columbus. This was Clay's 3rd appearance in Columbus. 1) AI2 2) Independent tour with Kelly and 3) the Solo tour. It was a sold out house. I remember being so excited, I could hardly remember anything afterward.

  10. Didn't get to see these early tours. This was Clay's Rocking tours. I always loved "Perfect Day." Still play "Measure of a Man" and all of his albums. He is looking good in that coat.

  11. Thanks much for the gorgeous pics and for posting the West Springfield clips, Musicfan; much appreciated. I had seen pics of the jacket but didn't know what concert it was that Clay wore it until a few weeks ago. Didn't know about Clay until '09 so I missed out on a lot of great tours. Thankfully, that won't happen again. 🙂

  12. I attended 3 shows for this tour. I miss Pop star Clay when the crowds were on their feet dancing around.
