Law & Order: Special Victims Unit is a crime drama television series. It airs on NBC and premiered in September, 1999.
The show focuses on victims of sexual crimes, such as rape and domestic abuse. Sometimes its storyline involves children and the elderly. Many times, the show takes stories from the news and changes it a bit to make it a fresh look on current problems. The stories also touch on the issues associated with gender identity, sexual preferences, and equality rights.
The fictional Special Victims Unit is located in the 16th Precinct of the New York City Police Department.
The show always starts with the following voice-over:
In the criminal justice system, sexually-based offenses are considered especially heinous. In New York City, the dedicated detectives who investigate these vicious felonies are members of an elite squad known as the Special Victims Unit. These are their stories.

The star of a singing reality-competition program is accused by a four-year-old student from his day job of molesting her. Rollins believes he should be handled delicately so his media and professional lives are not disrupted. Benson’s investigation reveals the need to pursue him publicly and forget any potential damage to his careers. As more victims come forward, though, the man refuses to admit his crimes, and the team must devise a new strategy.
Although Clay Aiken hinted at the Gala that his part was rather small, I am looking forward to seeing him on TV.

I am a great fan of the show although I don't watch it much these days. I was riveted with the season ending episode and was looking forward to this season's opener. I wasn't disappointed. I hope Clay has more than a few words in the script!! Go Clay! Oh and btw, the pictures surfacing are just gorgeous!!
I hope Clay plays the good guy, Clay said some of his fans might be unhappy about his career change, maby this role is what he was talking about…Some people take it as true when an actor plays a character that people hate, I know that from soap opera's and the stories the actor's on them have to say about fan mail …Clay has not been talking about his role on cvu, so maby that is the reason. All I know is I hope he still does touring, and making new albums.,If he does not want to do that anymore it is his choice and we will always been happy for the years we have had him and wish him the best of luck in his future ventures ////// We still have the music he has done already and that will never go away…..
I agree completrly!If Claykin does stop anything maybe it will just 4 a little while. If he goes to Broadway he will be on the talk shows, if Cal the same thing. If he deidcates himselfmto the kids how could anyone disagree. WE WILL ALWAYS LOVE CLAYBEAR! HE IS SO NICE!!!
Yep I’ve been watching the show for years and I can’t wait to see Clay, small part or not. I’m loving all these new pictures. Clay is definitely lookin good!! 🙂
Musicfan once again you bring such joy to us Clay fans. You are a gem keep up the good work ,and look you brought people to Clay with this site, how fun. A picture is worth a thousand words and what pictures these and all u bring are. OMC is the only one that says so much without saying a word.

I have never watched that show,either. But will this one time, because of CLAY.Although it's just a show, praying CLAY is not the bad guy.

All I know is I love them both so it should be perfection
I did watch year Taylor won and I wanted him to win,,,but it is nothing like the way I feel as a fan of Clay's . I never went to a TH concert, it is not something I like to do . But, when it comes to clay even though I became a fan so much later I go to any concert I can of his. I watch him on TV when ever he is on, buy his CD's , he is my favorite singer ever, and he is just a fantastic person with the greatest smile ever…..
I hear that he is playing himself. They are the judges of the talent show. How can we not like the part he plays…himself. Wish it were a meatier part, but he does look good.

I hope I can sit and enjoy the whole show. Clay can be quite the distraction even if he will only be on there for a few seconds/minutes. 😀 Doesn't look like he'll be the bad guy, but if he is, that would be a nice change up and I'd enjoy watching him flex his acting muscles!
