Clay Aiken – Happy Clay Day!

Happy Clay Day!!

Tuesday, June 24, 2014

From The Lee County Democratic Party:
Clay Aiken Day In Lee County
Clay Aiken will be visiting Lee County on Tuesday, June 24, and he will be at the Lee County Democratic Headquarters, 139 Chatham Street, at 6:30 P.M. This is a great opportunity for all Lee County Democrats to come out and support our candidate for the 2nd Congressional District.
Renee Ellmers, who currently serves as our Representative in the U.S. Congress, has not really represented the people in Lee County or the rest of the 2nd Congressional District very well.
If you have not heard Clay speak before, please take this opportunity to hear him, and you will know why the 2nd Congressional District and the rest of North Carolina will benefit from having a person in Congress who truly represents North Carolinians.
Refreshments will be served, and there will be time to talk with Clay and his staff. Please invite others to attend.
According to WWGP1050 radio:
SANFORD–Former American Idol runner up Clay Aiken will come to Lee County Tuesday. He will visit businesses throughout the day and will address the Democratic Party at 6:30 P.M
I would love to celebrate Clay Day…too bad I live on the west coast!

Steps To The Future is a student-centered college admission counseling service that works with students and families as they navigate the college application process.  Recognizing that students are individuals who navigate through the process differently, STTF provides customized approach for each student focusing on the steps necessary for this journey. This organization posted the following on Monday:

Ann Michelle Roberts from Meredith College; triple major in Political Science, Criminal Justice, and Sociology. This is what a women’s college does for young women. She’s also president of the Student Gov’t Association and an intern on Clay Aiken’s campaign team. Future plans: lawyer. This woman is phenomenal!!!

Congratulations, Ms. Roberts…I hope you have a wonderful time working for Team Clay.  I am sure it will be an exciting time and hope you learn a lot that will help you in your future education.
