Clay Aiken – Some Random Things

It’s Sunday – The first day of a new, exciting week!!

Saturday was a full day of politics in North Carolina, especially if you are a democrat.  It’s fun to have some fresh news to post!

The day started with a “tongue-in-cheek” graphics from the New York Times…silly? cute? I can’t judge, but it is fun to see Clay’s name out there!

Compare and Contrast: Clay Aiken vs. Henry Clay

Being honest…I had to look it up.  I knew the name, but couldn’t remember much about Henry Clay!!

Henry Clay, Sr. (April 12, 1777 – June 29, 1852) was an American lawyer, politician, and skilled orator who represented Kentucky in both theUnited States Senate and House of Representatives. He served three different terms as Speaker of the House of Representatives and was also Secretary of State from 1825 to 1829.

Alex Pope:
Hello NC. Fracking, really. Wow Pat McCroy has killed this state already. Thank God for Clay Aiken. Maybe he can save us?

Clay Aiken rolled up into my sign shop yesterday. He was very nice. What he needs for his campaign is beyond our normal service but we are going to see if we can help. I would like to see him win after hearing what Renee Elmers said about him when she heard he would run against her…I am paraphrasing ” he doesn’t have anything to do since his career tanked”. How especially unkind and not a very christian thing to say. Go Clay!

  1. Kelly was rude to Clay. I haven't been able to watch her. It is probably good to have a sense of humor about the incident.

  2. Yesterday the websites were overloaded with ugly posts. For every negative one I see I post a positive one. Many of those you see are mine. I'm excited to see Clay getting back on the trail love the pictures. Hope to see lots more.
