Clay Aiken – Laughs and Wonderful Music

During the summer of 2005, Clay Aiken performed around the country presenting concerts on The Jukebox Tour.  The tour was very popular and Clay sang songs from the 50’s through the 90’s.

There was lots of dancing, costume changing, laughs and wonderful music.

During the tour, Clay introduced some songs that he was considering for his up-coming album. A fan favorite was an upbeat song titled, ” Back For More.”

I found a YouTube of the performance of “Back For More.”  The video was taken in Vermont.    Take a look…… The song is “a little bit rock and roll” and although it is rumored that Clay didn’t really like the song, it was a big hit with his fans.

Did you get to attend a concert on this tour?

  1. I saw the Jukebox tour twice. Loved it both times. Clay & the gang had so much fun performing those songs with lots of costume changes. Thanks for finding and posting this video.

  2. I didn’t get to see the Jukebox tour so I was glad too see him later. I love Back forMore. It would have been good on a cd.

  3. I don't think it was not Clay's favorite, but that he was disappointed he couldn't put the song in his next album. Clay admitted this at his auction as he was asking for bids for one of the original recordings of the song. He said he has a copy and so does his lawyer. I do love the song and his performance on The Jukebox Tour!

  4. Love that Jukebox tour although I never attended his concerts as I didn't know about him then I'm so thankful that I've been able to watch these concert videos thru Clack. That song should have been on his album.
    Thanks Martha xo

  5. No I never was brave enough to travel by myself back then like I am now! How foolish I was huh? Lived it through clack!! Great song Back For More is. I have it on my home made Clay CD's that are played daily in my car. That being one of them!! Thanks Martha!

  6. What great memories!!!! I was able to attend 3. Clio, Michigan, Darien Lake, NY, and Toronto (where I held a Pre-Concert Party for over 400 people) Oh the FUN!!!!!!! We are so lucky to have these fantastic memories…..I wouldn't trade them for anything!!!! Thanks Musicfan!

    • I was fortunate to attend 8 Jukebox Tours; Tom's River, Darian Lake, Wolftrap, Musikfest in Bethlehem, PA, Piittsburgh, Cary, and 2 in Atlantic City. I remember how my friend and I kept looking at each other in awe as Clay sang songs by The Platters, Elvis, and many others, even better than the originals.. What a summer that was!

  7. Love that song! It would have been perfect for radio! RCA really did him wrong with this song for sure — it should have been on his CD also. grrrrrr! I wish……..
