“In My Life” is a song by The Beatles written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney. The song originated with Lennon, and while McCartney contributed to the final version, the extent of his contribution is in dispute. Released on the 1965 album, Rubber Soul, it is ranked 23rd on the Rolling Stone article “The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time”, and placed second on CBC’s 50 Tracks. Mojo magazine named it the best song of all time in 2000.
On March 12, 2010, Clay Aiken sang this beautiful song on his Tried & True Live PBS Special. On the night of the recording, he dedicated the song to all the teachers that have been a part of his life.
Clay also featured this amazing song as he toured throughout the US on his Tried and True Tour.

This song is our song of dedication of our love for Clay and his love for us! I miss him and his concerts, but right now I'm willing to wait for Clay and whatever he decides to do in the future! I respect his decision!

I always loved this song by the Beatles and was beyond thrilled when Clay sang it. The words are powerful and sweet, and well, just no one sings it like Clay. Loved the videos as well. Thanks Musicfan. It's always fun to go back and watch. We are so lucky to have so much clack.
Clay's rendition of this song is just perfection. I am so appreciative of Clay allowing folks to record his performances over all the years he was on tour. Now we can relive those days forever…or until sometime when Clay decides to perform again.
How do we get this great singer to make another CD!!! He has to do it! I miss him. He can be in Government and sing! ( he doesn't have to perform if he doesn't want to. His music calms me in my darkest hours and scary times. ( like the dentist and drs and mri's! ) He is the best!
Brings back memories. I was at that show, intimate venue with a great sound. His opening number was sublime, too, but since The Beatles are my favorite group, hearing Clay sing The Beatles is wonderful.
