Clay Aiken – A Grand Entrance!

2005 was the summer of the Jukebox Tour.  Clay Aiken fans filled the concert halls and arenas in the eastern half of the United States to see a great concert of pop music history.  Most of the concerts were sold out and Clay and his troupe put on an exciting show.

Did you know:

  •  Manufacturers did not call them “jukeboxes”, they called them Automatic Coin-Operated Phonographs
  • How much do they cost? It all depends on the condition, model, rarity and age and an agreeable seller and buyer. They can be as inexpensive as $100 to over $30,000.
  •  No one is really sure how many Jukeboxes have been made. A guesstimate is about 2 Million.

Did you ever put money into a Jukebox??

I think my favorite part of the show was Clay’s great entrance at the beginning of the concert and the 50’s section!

What was your favorite part of the JukeBox Tour?

  1. My favorite part of the 50's segment was Clay hoping on top of the piano and swinging his hips! I wasn't there in person, but at home, I was screaming just like the women in the audience! Great way to start my day! Thank you CANN!

  2. What I just saw there was my favorite part!! I remember reading about it online (the jumping up on the piano) and I just could not wait to see it!!
Loved that whole concert. My husband surprised me and bought the tickets (after I hinted that I really wanted to go). Came home and there they were–all printed out. Told him it was one of the nicest things he'd ever done. He still laughs about that because he has done plenty of nice things and I'm sure he really never knew how much it meant for me to go. I was so excited that I hardly slept the night before.

  3. Loved, loved, loved the Jukebox Tour!! Saw it prob. 5 or 6 times!! Always wished for a Jukebox 2!!!!! The 50's part was also my favorite, but I loved it all!!

  4. I loved all of it. Went with my friend…both of us clay crazy. Had great seats. Saw this outdoors in Atlanta. Crowd was screaming. Clay came to the section we were sitting in to talk with a couple and had the hubby come up on stage with him. What a fun night!

  5. That opening was one of the best Clay ever did. We screamed all evening. Loved when Clay got on the piano. Saw this concert twice and would have gone again if possible.
