Clay Aiken – A Busy Day!

It’s Friday!  Are you ready to see BOLD TV at 10am/eastern – 7am-Pacific

Clay Aiken and Carrie Sheffield are ready to lead a conversation about

States’ Rights in regards to abortion, legal marijuana and gun control and Judge Neil Gorsuch!

Now, that’s a lot of serious talk, but…Carrie and Clay always keep the listeners informed, but make sure we can smile too!

Clay was busy on Twitter Thursday.  He started the day with two political tweets and then, he must have read a really fun and entertaining article at City Pages.

City Pages is a weekly publication from Minneapolis and St. Paul.  Today, they had a fun article and it included Clay Aiken!!  I am only including the part about Clay.  If you want to read the entire article and see who else is nominated to play a role, you can see it HERE .

Casting the inevitable ‘RussiaGate’ movie

If American history has taught us anything, it’s that we need the tinsel and lights of Hollywood to fully understand any political scandal.

To rush that process along for the Trump administration’s ongoing RussiaGate story, we’ve gone ahead and cast the movie. We’re going to need all of Hollywood’s silver foxes, and everyone’s going to have to grow jowls.

It’s not going to be pretty, but it’s going to be insane. Would you watch it?….

Attorney General Jeff Sessions played by … Clay Aiken

We could dig really far into the list of actors from either Charlie and the Chocolate Factory or Horton Hears a Who! to find our perfect Jeff. I considered Kristin Chenoweth briefly, but I think Clay Aiken plus aged makeup would do a fine job. Bonus: He has political experience.

I think that Clay saw the article about the same time I did…He posted the following tweet…

Not sure what’s funnier. That they cast me as Jeff Sessions or that the link says “A-lister” 😂😂
Of course, City Pages answered back:

Looks like we’ve secured Clay Aiken to play Jeff Sessions!

It’s all silly, but it’s lots of fun too!

Yesterday, I thought about Clay on American Idol, 14 years ago and posted about it.  I guess I wasn’t the only one.  Clay commented to the following tweet:

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 y’all sleep on this man

A video of Clay singing Bridge Over Troubled Water was attached to the tweet. Clay answered:

And while I’m sleeping, I’ll dream of still being that young and skinny! 😂😂

Clay…I think everyone here thinks you look pretty young and skinny right now!!!

Clay ended the day with an important tweet.

Thank you Clay, for reminding us that we need to help if we can.  I hope that many can help Jerome fight his battle to recover and be back with all of us…soon!
It’s always fun when we hear from Clay.
I hope he tweets some more today!!!

  1. My phone was tweeting all day long in regards to Clay! The "Russia Gate" was hilarious in their casting! I believe Clay is a good choice to play Jeff Sessions And as someone else tweeted, OMC is a "AAA-lister"

  2. I went to see a local production of Spamalot yesterday. Couldn't help but remember Clay as very scared/funny Sir Robin in the production on Broadway. I told my friend how you had scored the perfect seat and was selected to have your photo taken with Clay & company. You can bet I'll be watching Bold this morning.

  3. What fun comments and replies! I really enjoyed reading this post. People are still thinking about OMC! That’s a really cute picture of Clay & Carrie playing around on the green screen set of Bold. They can’t be serious all the time. Today’s Bold should be a good one. ❤️ UNCONDITIONAL love for you Clay. Don’t drop Carrie on the floor!
