Clay Aiken – A Search For Peace!

Natalie Grant is a popular singer-songwriter of contemporary Christian music.  Born in Seattle, Washington, Natalie makes her home in Nashville with her husband and their three daughters; Grace Ana and Isabella Noelle (born February 16, 2007) and Sadie Rose (born December 17, 2010)

Natalie is looked upon as an amazing and talented lady who plays a prominent role in Christian Music.  She has five Dove Awards for the best female artist and was also awarded the Gospel Music Association Female Vocalist of the Year four times.

Natalie released her last album, titled Be One, in 2015. In 2005, Natalie released her album titled Awaken.  One of the most beautiful songs on the album was The Real Me.  The poignant lyrics seem to express a search for peace from the push and pull of being in the limelight.  Natalie’s book, “The Real Me: Being the Girl God Sees” was available to the public in January of 2005.

Clay Aiken included The Real Me on his album On My Way Here. He also sang the song on many of his live concerts.

The following is a wonderful video of Clay singing this wistful song.

  1. Clay sings from his heart with "The Real Me" He reaches down to one's soul with his performance! Thank you, CANN for posting this beautiful song on this peaceful Sunday morning!

  2. I don’t think I have seen this before. So pretty! So many looks for this man! Love each one! Such a wistful song!

  3. The Real Me is definitely one of Clays most heartfelt songs. He puts his whole self into this performance. The blond hair is my least favorite color on Clay. Just never seemed right to me. I knew it would change though. I love the new cut & style. So youthful. I keep going back to that picture. Thanks for all the photos & the fine video musicfan. ❤️ UNCONDITIONAL love for you Clay.
