Clay Aiken – Crazy Things!!

“Forget the things that made you sad and remember those that made you glad.

Happy Weekend!”

Think back…way, way back…farther…don’t stop until you get to spring, 2003…May 23, 2003 – Season 2 of American Idol was over and Clay was being booked on many, many TV shows!

U-Pick Live was a program that aired on Nickelodeon.  It was on weekday afternoons and was filmed at the Nickelodeon Headquarters in New York City.

The show was for kids. Via the internet, viewers voted the shows that would air.  Most of the shows were cartoons.

There were 2 hosts on the show who took part in gags and sketches.  Sometimes they included members of the audience and celebrity guests.  They also featured interviews and performances by the celebrities.

On Friday night, I found a You Tube of Clay on U-Pick Live.  My first thought was…yikes!!  But, it’s fun to see one of the crazy things Clay did at the beginning of his career!!

Do they still have programs like this in the afternoons?

  1. OMG! That was hilarious! I may have seen it before but I sure don't remember all of it! Bouncing on the bouncy ball is something I do recall! How the heck do you find these things Musicfan??!!!

  2. Love Clay bouncing on the ball and singing the new version of Mary Had a Little Lamb! Thanks for the Claymemory pictures and video! I'm glad my electricity is still on to post my comment. It's raining cats and dogs down here ( north of Houston) due to Harvey!.

  3. That’s a new one to me. Clay was on so many shows. No other AI star did the huge amount and variety of shows that Clay did. He was one busy boy. Thanks for the unusual video. Where was it hiding all these years. ❤️ UNCONDITIONAL love for you Clay. God bless America.
