Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard chose the 1984 popular song, Footloose to perform in the 80’s celebration of their Timeless Tour.  It was a big hit to the audiences when the stage turned into a fun party, filled with excitement, fun, dancing and, of course, great music.

  1. This was my favorite segment of "The Tried and True" tour. Love all the songs especially "Footloose" Of course the song "Alone" was a close second! Thank you CANN and all the clackers for the pictures and video!

  2. Yes, loved Timeless Tour! Great fun, as those two always are together. And for sure, a huge THANK YOU to CANN and to all the Clack takers!

BTW, I also have a memory of Clay and Rubin doing Footloose on AI2, towards the end of the show. It was new to me, since I hadn’t seen the movie, and I loved both it and the R/C duet+”dance”. (Am I hallucinating??)

  3. I really love the Footloose number. It is so full of energy. It shows Clays great dancing abilities. I have watched that number about a million times. Thanks to all those responsible for recording it. Thanks for the special post. ❤️ UNCONDITIONAL love for you Clay. God bless America

  4. The song and the movie Footloose was definitely a favorite of mine and also watching Ruben and Clay performing it on the Timeless Tour! Thanks to all for the Video and the great photos.
