Clay Aiken – Capture The Good Times

If one picture of Clay Aiken is worth a thousand words, more pictures are indescribable!

When you photograph a face . . .you photograph the soul behind it. Jean-Luc Godard

“Photographs are priceless. Capturing something nothing else will. A precious documentation of a moment standing still.” Author: Nicole Baus

Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything. -Aaron Siskind

“When you photograph people in color, you photograph their clothes. But when you photograph people in Black and white, you photograph their souls!” ― Ted Grant

“When we look at a picture, a moment of magic occurs. It is as if someone had laid a sheet of translucent paper over our thought and made a tracing of our memories.” Author: –Tom Bentkowski

“Each photograph is a story captured in a single moment” Author: M.Lopez

Take a photo that includes a silhouette – Joseph Gordon – Levitt

“If the photographer is interested in the people in front of his lens, and if he is compassionate, it’s already a lot. The instrument is not the camera but the photographer.” — Eve Arnold

  1. Whenever I see Clay emerging from the light in the white costume a moment of magic does happen. I usually like pictures with red hair and a moment of happiness captured. There are many of those to be sure. Clay is a very photographed person. Thanks for the post. ❤️ UNCONDITIONAL love for you Clay. God bless America.

  2. Thank you for all the photos, but I love the picture of Clay in black and white with the quote by Ted Grant! Nevertheless, they are all extraordinary!

  3. I love all the pictures, but my favorite is the third picture down.

I do have to say, I love this blog. You always come up with something to share with us….even when Clay is not around!!

  4. There are tons of gorgeous pictures of Clay. However, if we are to pick our favorite of the above pictures, I vote for #5.

Thanks, btw, for this great idea. It gives us something to do while waiting for whatever he has planned next.

  5. I can't decide….There are just so many sides of Clay. But for me…it's his eyes…and when he looks at you, it's as though he is seeing right into your soul. I know that is weird, but he has that ability. Funny, serious, sexy….He's got it all.

  6. My favorite in this group of pictures is #1 along with the beautiful quote by Jean-Luc Godard. Btw, loved his hair style in this week's edition of BoldTV!

  7. Eeee – thank you for such a great chore and the memories!! Love em all – can’t even pick just one, have to have a tie:

#2, cos his face and body are so incredibly expressive, and the qoute is perfect – all the pics of “moments in time” let me feel as though I saw his wonderful MITC performance.

And also #8 because I’m a sucker for happy Clay (and I agree about the way his eyes can transfix you). I also agree with the quote about the eye of the camera being the person behind it, especially with a chamelian face like Clay’s – from two different angles, he can look totally different. Remember in mid-March on AI2 when suddely he was beautiful? It was all in how a new photographer saw him.

I also love his green eyes, red hair, blond hair, spikey hair, Bold hair, sillhouette, B&W, etc., lol. Thank you again, musicfan, you’re amazing!

  8. I have two favorites – #8 and #1 – sort of before and after the glamour. I like the top quote –
by Jean- Luc-Goddard. I think you can always see the soul of someone (Clay) through their eyes!

Saying this – there are not very many photos of Clay that are not liked/loved in my opinion!
Thank you for making this so fun – but you can't lose with Clay!!! You make each day interesting not only fun. 🙂 <3
