Clay Aiken – Music Awards In New York

The 60th Grammys are officially over and according to all reports it was an evening full of stars, glamour and exciting music.

The Grammys were broadcast from Madison Square Garden in New York City and aired on CBS. It is the first time since 2003 that the ceremony is held outside Los Angeles.  The host of the 2018 Grammy Awards was the Late Late Show Host, James Corden.

According to Grammy.com:

…the GRAMMYs are the only peer-presented award to honor artistic achievement, technical proficiency and overall excellence in the recording industry, without regard to album sales or chart position…

Congratulations to…

Bruno Mars                                 Record of the Year for “24KMagic”

Bruno Mars                                 Song of the Year -songwriting for “That’s What I Like”.

Kendrick Lamar                         Best rap album

Alessia Cara                                Best New Artist

I am sure that all the performers at the Grammy Awards are very talented.   That being said, instead of the Grammy performances, I would much rather listen to Clay Aiken sing a wonderful song.  How about you?

The following is a video of Clay in Ft. Myers, Florida.  He is singing Measure of A Man. It is a beautiful performance, filled with emotion and wonderful singing!

What do you think?

  1. I did not watch the Grammy Awards show either. I agree with you – I definitely would rather watch and listen to Clay sing and talk. I would much rather spend my time with joy, laughter, and inspiration – all of the things Clay provides in my life! Just like the above Clay video.

  2. Thank you, CANN for posting the virtuoso performance "Measure of a Man" by our Clay! His voice is beyond amazing!

  3. I would much rather listen to Clay sing than any of the Grammys singers. I don’t watch this type of show anymore. They are too political for me. It takes the enjoyment out of watching.

❤️ UNCONDITIONAL love for you Clay. God bless America.

  4. Oh man. Loved watching this again. Now…here’s a singer that at least should have had a nomination at the Grammy’s years ago. No lipsynking. No autotune…just pure magic. I despise the music industry for not giving this man his dues.

  5. Add my name to the list of those who didn't watch the Grammys last night. I don't think we missed much. I do like Bruno Mars and am glad he won multiple awards. I, too, will take clips of Clay performing in his sincere style with his one-of-a-kind voice.

  6. you also may add me to the list of persons who don't watch the grammys id rather hear clay sing a song I hate Bruno mars bleck
