Clay Aiken – Hello, August!

Happy August To All!!

August is known for many things, including the dog days of summer, National Watermelon Day,  and National Smile Week. But there are many other fun facts associated with the last full month of summer.

Did you know that:

  • On Aug. 24th in 79 A.D., the volcano Mount Vesuvius erupted, destroying the city of Pompeii and others.
  • On Aug. 21, 1911, the Mona Lisa was stolen from the Louvre Gallery and not recovered for two years.

But…more important…What has Clay Aiken done in the month of August??

Clay graduated from UNC-Charlotte on August 6, 2003
