Clay Aiken – What A Beautiful Song!

Natalie Grant is a popular singer-songwriter of contemporary Christian music.  Born in Seattle, Washington, Natalie makes her home in Nashville with her husband and their three daughters; Grace Ana and Isabella Noelle (born February 16, 2007) and Sadie Rose (born December 17, 2010)

Natalie is looked upon as an amazing and talented lady who plays a prominent role in Christian Music.  She has five Dove Awards for the best female artist and was also awarded the Gospel Music Association Female Vocalist of the Year four times.

Natalie released her last album, titled Hurricane, in 2013. In 2005, Natalie released her album titled Awaken.  One of the most beautiful songs on the album was The Real Me.  The poignant lyrics seem to express a search for peace from the push and pull of being in the limelight.  Natalie’s book, “The Real Me: Being the Girl God Sees” was available to the public in January of 2005.

Clay Aiken included The Real Me on his album On My Way Here. He also sang the song on many of his live concerts.

The following is a wonderful video of Clay singing this wistful song.

What a beautiful song!

  8. This is one of my absolute favorite songs. I have never seen this video. It is a real eye opener how much fussing over is needed to produce such a thing. I can see why Clay would step away from some of this. But his voice is so special and all that he puts into his singing is so important to those who love him❤️
