Clay Aiken – “The Seabiscuit Of Show Biz”

Maybe Christmas in November is the Best!!

Monday…WOW!  It was a fabulous day for fans of Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard!

Monday was the official opening of the Imperial Theater Box Office for The Ruben & Clay’s Christmas Show, Family Fun Pageant Spectacular Reunion!

There was Clay, Ruben, free food, Posters, tree ornaments…..and lots of people!

At 5:00pm, Clay and Ruben traveled to The Shops at Columbus Circle for its third year of Broadway Under the Stars. Ruben and Clay were interviewed and sang three songs from the Christmas Show!  The area was filled with people and, according to those in attendance, the audience loved Clay and Ruben.

Today, I am adding two videos to this article.  The first one is Clay singing at Broadway Under The Stars.  The other video is a great  interview  from Access.

Enjoy!!

What a fun day!!

  6. Yesterday was wonderful!!! My sister and I made it to the Imperial Theater. We got our ornaments, posters, and posed for a picture with Ruben and Clay. And if that's not enough, we even won two tickets for opening night!!!

  7. Eeeeeeee!! Clay’s still got his deep voice!! Love it!! So glad they git a bug turnout! And interview was charming, of course; I like both of the new hosts, too, except “taco meat” not exactly Christmas-y…

  8. OK, I logged into Facebook, NOW will you stop deleting my comments?? There are only 3 Fb likes but several comments, so it should not be required, but…

Clay sang OHN so beautifully – I loved hearing his delicious deep voice again. Christmas carols are one of my fave Clay genres; so cool that he and Rube are doing a Christmas show! Thank you, music fan, for letting us share in the fun!

    • Just a reminder…I always check every comment that comes in.( except for robo calls that automatically get rejected) That means I have to see it. Sometimes I am at the grocery store, or making dinner, or??? So…your comment will not be approved until I see it. I seldom ever reject a comment but sometimes it might take an hour or so to get it approved.

I choose to do that because I do not want any nasty comments. This is a place for positive news!

  9. Clay & Ruben can sure get us in the Christmas spirit with their humor & friendship. That was a great interview. Thanks for posting.
