Clay Aiken – On-site Reporter

On September 18, 2005, Clay Aiken appeared on the 2005 Emmy Awards.  He served as part of the on-site reporting team for The Insider.

After the event, Clay donated his entire Emmy outfit to The Clothes Off Our Back. This charity was started by Bradley Whitford and Jane Kaczmarek. The organization sold items worn by celebrities at special occasions. When the auction was finally over, the tuxedo, shoes, and cufflinks that Clay wore to the 2005 Emmy Awards went for a final amazing total of $27,250.

The following are a few pictures of Clay working at the rehearsal of the  Emmy Awards in Pasadena, CA.

  1. Love all the pictures of Clay of rehearsing and interviewing for The Insider! I was anxiously waiting for Clay's next CD back in 2006. Worth the wait! Thank you, CANN for sharing memories!

  2. This Insider interview is new to me. Don't know what I was doing in Sept 2005, but I missed it.
Thanks for the posting. Wonder who bought Clay's clothes?
