Clay Aiken – Happy August To All

Happy August To All!!

August is known for many things, including the dog days of summer, National Watermelon Day,  and National Smile Week. But there are many other fun facts associated with the last full month of summer.

Did you know that:

  • Fans of Elvis Presley mourn each Aug. 16th, the day the famed singer died in 1977. ( Wait…that’s my birthday!!!)
  • On Aug. 24th in 79 A.D., the volcano Mount Vesuvius erupted, destroying the city of Pompeii and others.
  • On Aug. 21, 1911, the Mona Lisa was stolen from the Louvre Gallery and not recovered for two years.

But…more important…What is Clay Aiken doing now… in this August??

Clay Aiken – August Schedule ???

Well…I don’t have a schedule, but…I bet Clay spends lots of time with his son who will be in middle school this year.  How is your math, Clay?

And, I feel sure that Clay is working each week to be prepared for his PodCast.  I would imagine if you want to do a good job, you need to be prepared.  (By the way, did you listen to Clay this week?  There was lots of information about Russia.  I learned a lot!)

AND… I hope that Clay tweets so that we can hear from him.  What else?

We will see!

  1. Happy August to all of you! Clay has certainly been busy for many years during August.
I bet his happiest day was the birth of his son. It's unbelievable that he will be 12 years
old very soon. Before long he will be a teenager!

Thank you for all of the great pics CANN!

  3. I learned a lot from Clay's podcast on Thurs. One of the best so far.
I was in Ogunquit, Maine in Aug. to watch Clay in 'Dreamcoat' and even got his autograph after the show!
