Clay Aiken woke up on Saturday morning and posted a lovely Instagram:
One of the greatest honors and the blessings of my run in 2014 were the chances I had to sit and talk with @repjohnlewis by phone, in NC, and in his office in DC. He really was the last remaining American hero we had. He will be missed, but his legacy will live on longer than most anyone’s.
If the national discussion is going to remain on statues, I think it’s time we started talking about erecting one of him.

Back in the first 1/2 of 2012, I loved Sundays! Clay Aiken was on TV every Sunday for many weeks.
It was always fun to see him on Celebrity Apprentice and watch how he solved the problems presented each week!

John Lewis will surely be missed. He did so much for this country. Glad Clay had the opportunity to speak and visit with him. Love the photos of Clay on the Apprentice. I remember each of those episodes and how well Clay worked with others and offered great ideas each week for the tasks.
