Clay Aiken – The Ice Shines

January 14, 2021 marked the opening of the United States Figure Skating Championships in Las Vegas, Nevada. This event features the top U.S.figure skaters who are competing for national titles in their divisions. The U.S. Championships are usually eight days of Olympic-style competition and culminates with the selection of the U.S. World  Teams.

I am an avid Figure Skating fan so I spent Thursday afternoon and evening glued to the TV, watching the senior short programs for Ladies and Pairs..  I will be there again today to see the great skaters.

This is a difficult year for skaters.  Their only audience in the arena are cut-out, pretend people.  And then, no-one really knows if there will be a World Championship.  Nevertheless, the skaters were amazing yesterday.

Clay is no stranger to ice skating.  We have had a chance to see Clay on the Ice many times.

 Do you remember these skates?

I hope you will all take the time to see this fun video.

  3. I remember watching Clay & Sasha during the Holiday on Ice show several years ago. They both looked like they were having fun and enjoying each others company. I haven't been on ice skates since I was about 8 yrs old. Thanks for posting this delightful video.
