Are you ready for the Olympics?  Tonight, the Opening Ceremonies of the 2018 Winter Olympics will take place.  For those of you in the United States, you can see the ceremonies live on NBC.

I have to admit that I am a big fan of the Olympics.  I am afraid I will be glued to the television for the next 2 weeks.  Of course, my favorite sport is the figure skating.  I love seeing the combination of excellent skating and beautiful artistry.  Some of my favorite memories of skating Olympics are:

  • The Battle of the Brians
  • Paul Wylie
  • Kristi Yamaguchi
  • Torvill and Dean

This year, I am looking forward to watching Adam Rippon and Nathan Chen.  They are both exciting skaters.  Nathan is known for his amazing jumping and Adam is an Artist on Ice.

According to CNN:

Listen, it’s not breaking news. The Winter Olympics are going to be cold. But it seems like the games in Pyeongchang are shaping up to be really, REALLY cold…

On Friday at Bokwang Phoenix Park, where the freestyle skiing and snowboard events will be held, the low is predicted to be a brisk 3˚F (-16˚C).

I guess this jacket that Clay is wearing would not be warm enough!

Would either of these coats help?

NO!!!!  Maybe Clay better stay where he is and just watch on TV!!

So…Clay Aiken…Are you watching the Olympics?

Do you have a special sport that you will watch this week?
