Beyoncé, 50 Cent, Justin Timberlake, Tim McGraw, and Matchbox Twenty were among the nominees for the Fans’ Choice Award (a forerunner to today’s Artist of the Year) in November 2003. But none of them won.
The winner was the sixth nominee, Clay Aiken. Which shows just how hot Aiken and the American Idol franchise were at the time.

Don’t forget that Clay will be on TV today (Sunday).  He will be on the Al Jazeera America channel.  According to their website, Al Jazeera America is a cable and satellite television channel.
Clay will be making his second appearance on The Third Rail, a weekly current affairs program.  They pride themselves as a show that asks the tough questions that others avoid and digs deep into issues that affect all of us.
For the last few days, the program has been tweeting about the upcoming program.  The following are 2 of the topics:

The same two messages were posted on Facebook too.  I am glad that they advertise their show and seem too be proud of their programs.
