It has been a LONG day. I left my hotel in Washington DC at 7:30 Monday morning. When I got to the airport, my flight was delayed for almost 3 hours. Then, because of bad weather at home, many of the signal lights were not working. I’ve said enough…I am tired! But every travel snafu was worth the excitement of the Champions Gala.
After getting home, it was fun to see that Clay was one of the celebrities included in the Huffington Post article and slideshow titled:

Musicfan…I had a fantastic time, but I had airport issues too!. My 8 am flight was cancelled due to mechanical problems. Instead of arriving in Baton Rouge at 2:00 pm, it was 7:00 pm! Standby status is not fun, lol! I'm home, finally unpacking and reliving all the things I did while in Washington DC, Truely a wonderful city and I'm so happy I was there. Clay was fantastic and I'll never forget it! See some of you real soon!
I know you have some fabulous memories from this years GALA. I do hope you get some rest today though. I enjoyed looking at the Startweets-glad Clay was mentioned. Many of his tweets have been on various sites. . I loved watching Clay sing The Real Me. It really touches me whenever I hear him sing that song. I would have loved to hear him sing the extra lyrics at the end. What a treat for all at the GALA!

I love..love..love Clay's snarky tweets. That is why they feature them on different sites. The song "The Real Me" is a beautiful song. I heard he was a little emotional when he sang it at the Gala. Aw! He is adorable..and love him!
