Clay Aiken – Having Fun At Disney World

The carolers in “We Wish You A Merry Christmas” won’t go until they get what?

~~~~~
It is Monday, December 19th and in just a few days it will be Christmas.  Are you ready??  I think I am ready.  I have bought all my presents, sent out my cards and even have enough wood for my fireplace. All I have to do is wrap the presents, get some baking done and finalize the menu for the Christmas Dinner.
In 2003, Clay Aiken was the featured performer for the The Very Merry Christmas Parade at Walt Disney World.  It was the 20th anniversary of the Christmas Day Parade.  Clay opened the parade singing “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” and ended the parade with an exciting performance of ” Joy To The World” and “We Wish You A Merry Christmas.”
I remember reading that on the day Clay taped this event, he was fighting a cough and cold.  You certainly could not tell by his enthusiastic performance and singing.
There are many wonderful pictures that came out of Clays performance at Walt Disney World.  Besides the pictures, I have posted two videos of this fun performance.  I hadn’t watched them for a long time.  It looks like Clay was having a great time even though he was not feeling well. I hope you enjoy the videos.
Have you ever been to Disney World or Disneyland during the holidays?
  1. Love the videos of Clay memories at Disneyland! He was a busy, busy young man, no wonder he was having health problems, no time to rest!
  2. I just realized that I've been smiling the whole time watching Clay singing at Disneyworld. Great way to start the day. I've never celebrated Christmas at Disneyworld, but when my son was in the high school band, they went there and played in the parade. He said they were inside the castle and when the drawbridge came down and the band marched out, the crowd went wild. Such a fun memory.
  3. Back in those days the demands on Clay were unbelievable. It was always something and hard to keep up wth. I saw the Disney parade when it first aired. Those were fun days Thanks for the videos. ❤️ UNCONDITIONAL love for you Clay. Merry Christmas & God bless you.
  4. Quiz – think it was “figgy pudding” ? Love those old U.K. wassail songs.
    Love our holiday songs, too! Only vaguely remember these vids, tho I recognized that green shirt right away, lol – so much fun to see and hear him, thanks! And a happy Christmas to you and yours, to Clay and family, to Jerome and family, and all citizens of Clay Nation!!
