Clay Aiken – A Christmas Celebration

On Saturday, November 23rd, the city of Raleigh celebrated the beginning of the Christmas Holiday.

The day started with a wonderful parade in the downtown area.  This was the 75th year of the Raleigh Parade.  It has grown to be one of the largest Christmas Parades in the United States.

Clay Aiken was in his hometown to help in the celebration.  He was not in the parade, but was busy as one of the hosts for station ABC11.

A few days before the parade, Clay and and Amber Rupinta, who was also a host, taped a cute Karaoke Carpool.

They stopped by the mayors home and picked up the mayors wife.  She seemed to have fun joining into the singing.

Before the beginning of the parade, Clay took the opportunity to chat with people who had come to the parade to celebrate.

I am glad that there were people who shared pictures so that all of us could see some of the excitement.  It certainly looked like it was lots of fun.

I hope you enjoy these fun pictures.
