Thank you all for coming back to CANN!
I just returned home from having a short but fun trip. Now …it’s time to get back to working on CANN. I had a wonderful vacation and I saw and heard lots of fun things. I will share with you when we all get settled.
Today, I want to share one of my favorite performances by Clay Aiken. He performed this beautiful and exciting show in 2010. I hope you enjoy it!

In March, 2010, Clay sang a touching performance of In My Life. During the recording of his PBS Special, Clay introduced his former teachers and asked his 6th grade teacher to take a special bow. He told the audience that this special lady was the reason he made it through 6th grade. He then sang an amazing rendition of In My Life. He also sang it at the PBS concert in Chicago.
John Lennon wrote the original song, but McCartney contributed a great deal to the final version. The song was released on the 1965 album Rubber Soul. The song is ranked #5 on the list of the Beatles 100 Greatest Songs. It is also ranked 23rd on Rolling Stone list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.

Welcome back from vacation. Thank you for the pictures and the video. I love the pictures and the video. I was not there at the PBS special. I love this song. This song is one of my favorite songs. The words and music are beautiful. Clay voice is perfect for this song. John and Paul wrote so many songs together. It is hard to pick just one. One of the songs that the Beatles wrote is Yesterday. I do not remember Clay singing this song. That you to CANN for this post.
Glad to hear you were able to take time to enjoy your vacation. We missed you. I did drive down to NC to watch Clay’s taping of the PBS special and bought a CD of the performance. What fun that was!
