September brings back-to-school season and summer’s end, but it is also a month full of many unusual things to celebrate. I think the following are rather “interesting” celebrations!

For those of us on a Clay Aiken blog, the important cause is:
Classical Music Month
Many of us enjoy classical music, but when asked by someone, “What is classical music?” we are unable to provide a solid statement about this genre that encompasses many styles of music and spans more than seven hundred years.
The following are some definitions of and comments about Classical Music:
- Of or relating to music in the educated European tradition as opposed to popular or folk music.
- Orchestral and chamber music, etc, as opposed to jazz, folk music, etc.
- Music of the European tradition marked by sophistication of structural elements…
- Classical Music is the joy of being involved with something larger than you are.
- The best thing about being a musician is carrying around works of art in your head all the time.
- Lovers of classical music speak of it as a refuge from the stress of everyday life, a sanctuary of timeless treasures.
- The musician, A. Ansbacher said: Classical music for me is simply a thing of beauty…that everybody should have the opportunity to enjoy.
Whatever your favorite genre of music might be it is wonderful that the month of September celebrates music. Having grown up in a home where classical music was all I ever heard, I love listening to Brahms, Mahler, Mozart and many other great composers. Yet, when I heard Clay Aiken sing the first time, my heart soared and life was just a little bit better than the day before.

It's not a "different or strange" celebration but today is Grandparents Day! Happy Grandparents day to all the Grandma and Grandpa's out there! 🙂
I do like some classical music. I think Mozart would probably be my favorite but of course Beethoven is very beautiful too. Speaking of beautiful that video is jus amazing. Clay sounding so amazing and looking so hot! Sigh….. 🙂
im not a big fan of clasical music but when it comes to clay aiken singing a big clasic hit solatare omg
I like some classical music especially those that were made into popular songs. Most of these were composed by Chopin like Fantaisie Impromptu, Nocturne in E Flat Major and Etude in E Major Op 10 No. 3. These are "I'm Always Chasing Rainbows", To Love Again, and No Other Love. There were two songs composed and recorded based on the last one. No Other Love by Jo Stafford and Softly My Love by Della Reese. Both are beautiful songs.
I like Andrea Boccelli and Time to say Goodbye. I would love to hear Clay sing that.I do think they both are in the same category of great voices

Not a fan of classical music, sorry! But if I had to choose would be Mozart, Chopin, and some Beethoven.
Solitaire was impeccable and effortless. He's taken it so many notches up, no one can top it.
I never heard classical music growing up. My mother would play 'ethnic' (Croatian) music on Sundays and my brother & I would roll our eyes and groan. I listened to R&B and then R&R in high school. Now it is Clay everyday.
