  1. I'm super excited to hear the full version of Mack the Knife. Also, being a huge Lennon fan, In My Life is also on my list of favorite songs. Some of the song titles, I don't recognize, so I'm looking forward to seeing if I actually know them. =)

  2. Can't wait to hear the duet with Linda Eder. I love the song "Crying". I am so glad he sang "Build Me Up Buttercup". I want to hear that one so much!

  3. It is hard to choose as I can't wait to hear them all. I heard that the arrangement to Build Me Up Buttercup was super……so I will go with that one.

  4. Can't wait to see the PBS Special and can't wait to see Clay and Linda Eder sing "Crying" Such
great response concerning this song. By the way, I picked this song on the "Songs of Passion"
It was great news to hear that Clay sang this at his concert and that it was also recorded on His
    new Album. I can't wait.
Clay I' m so proud of you and wish I could have been at the Concert but I did see one of your
concerts a few years ago in Atlanta. But you have come so far since then. Wonderful luck in
your future and just keep doing what you do. We will always stand with you.,

  5. The following songs that I still want to hear Clay sing and or record are by the Platters which
I posted on the Songs of Passion site.
ONLY YOU, IT'S TWILIGHT TIME, HARBOR LIGHTS, THE GREAT PRETENDER. THESE ARE
CLASSICS RECORDED IN THE LATE 50'S AND EARLY 60'S
ALSO TWO OTHERS NOT RECORDED BY THE PLATTERS BUT ARE GREAT SONGS, "FUNNY
HOW TIME SLIPS AWAY" NOT SURE WHO RECORDED THIS SONG ORIGINALLY AND ALSO
iT'S JUST A MATTER OF TIME, ORIGINALLY RECORDED BY BROOK BENTON. RANDY TRAVIS
ALSO RECORDED IT BUT IT IS NOT A COUNTRY SONG.

  6. I LOVED his new new, his OWN, version of Unchained Melody – that and Mack the Knife, were my favorites of all the great songs he sang on Friday night. Can hardly wait for the CD/DVD so I can relive this amazingly wonderful night over and over again.

  7. Crying was just fantastic. But I was really surprised to hear Build Me Up Buttercup. I was happy to hear Misty and Suspicious Minds. But without a doubt Unchained Melody and the most unusual change up made me want to stand and shout, I think I said Whoa to my seatmate.

    I had a stupendous time.

  8. Clay made Solitaire his and now Unchained Melody belongs to him. My heart is broken that I didn't get to attend the show Friday night and I can hardly wait for the CD and the PBS airing, especially to hear him sing Unchained Melody and touch my soul as he does in so many ways.

Thank you, Clay for remaing to true to what you believe in and most of all..
    Thank you…for being you.

  9. When the curtain came down, Francois(?) the director came out and asked us to pick favourites. The applause to Unchained Melody went over the roof. Mack the Knife, Suspicious Minds and Build Me Up Buttercup also received thunderous applause. I believe those were the songs we picked as a group. Can someone verify that?

All the songs were already amazing, but those four songs blew me away. Only Clay can outdo himself.

The banter was the heart and soul of the program too.

    πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ Happy day πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

  10. I was there and can't wait to hear and see everything again. I most want to see Unchained Melody again to re-live that amazing rendition. Es Un Beso surprised me, but Clay seemed right at home singing it.

  11. I was not able to be there Friday night…but, I think the song "Eso Beso" Surprised me the most. I really like it…I listened to Paul Anka's version. I like the Samba beat and can't wait to see the dancers if they are on the DVD. Of course, I have to see "Unchained Melody" as I heard that was so spectacular. I really want to hear them all..but my other favorites arre MTK, It's Impossible, Misty, Crying, Suspicious Minds, & BMUB. Our man is back in town!!

  12. I am heart broken!! no way I can get to see him. old self here can't travel that far. will depend on all of you to make me feel like I was there. my thanks. many hugs
