Such sadness in the Aiken family right now….but I know that the memories will be of great comfort to them all at this sad time….God bless them all…My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in Clay's family, especially his Granny and Faye.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Clay and his family today.
We just never know how much time we will get on this earth with the ones we love. Clay has spoken so lovingly of his relationship with his Papa, and there must be tremendous sadness in his heart over this loss. Clay's love of family brought him back to North Carolina which has allowed him to stay close to his loved ones despite his fame and the commitments that go along with it. He will have many cherished memories to look back on and to help him through the difficult days ahead.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Aiken family at this time. This was such a beautiful tribute to Clay's Papa. I am so thankful that Clay had this loving man in his life. You can see the love and pride in his face in the picture of Clay hugging him. You can also see Clay's love and joy in hugging his Papa and his Grandma. I hope these special memories will help during the days to come and bring them peace.
I want to share my condolences with the Aiken Family at the loss of Papa Aiken. They will always have their beautiful memories of him. Clay was very close with his Papa..as you can see in the picture where he is hugging him. I am so glad he had this male presence in his life. Also, my thoughts and prayers go out to Faye and Grandma Aiken.

Thank you for this wonderful tribute to Clay's grandfather. One of my very favorite Clay Aiken performances was when he sang "Beautiful Star of Bethlehem" for his grandfather.
That was such a touching moment when Clay sang that special song for his papa.
