UNC Charlotte publishes a magazine for the College of Education.  In the fall of 2007, this popular publication featured an article about Clay Aiken.  Titled, “Measure of a Man,”  the article called Clay their most famous alumnus.  The article highlighted Clay’s work with his foundation and how important he feels it is to educate people about Inclusion.

The article is a nice read and  features a 4 page spread which includes two beautiful pictures; one from Clay’s professional life and one form his UNICEF work.

  1. What a great article..It still holds true today for Clay.. He has stayed true to his word from the day that we were introduced to him. He has always wanted to make a difference… Clay's values have never waivered, which is one of the reasons that I admire him so much. What a wonderful role model, when there are so many out there that are not. UNC Charlotte must be very proud of their student….I know I am.

    Hugs,

  2. What a wonderful article about Clay. And I have to say that I agree with everything that Judy just said. He has a heart of gold and loves helping kids everywhere.

  3. Womderful read…the man is absolutely who he appears to be. With Clay Aiken, what you see is what you get. What I see is a man whose heart and intellect are like multifaceted diamonds — shining and bringing to light things that need to be addressed in our society. Good for him. I hope he does get that talk show. Am interested in everything he has to say.

  4. What a wonderful article about their 'most famous alumni.' I bet they are as proud of him as all of his fans are – he's a beautiful human being, inside as well as outside!

  5. I have that article tucked away somewhere. It was wonderful reading it again. Clay Aiken has not deviated from his goal–he really has stayed the course. His foundation has become bigger than he ever could have dreamed. He certainly is a credit to UNC Charlotte.
I would love him to have his own talk show–he is such a natural.

  6. Here I was thinking I'd seen every Clay Aiken article written, but I think this is new to me!!
Thanks for posting this one! That picture of Clay is just gorgeous!! Great article too…UNC Charlotte has every right to have bragging rights to their famous alumni! He has done them proud!

  7. That's a wonderful article about their most famous alumni. Clay is still the devoted humanitarium he was then…and he certainly is making a difference.
