Clay Aiken – Just Look At The Crowd!

Clay Aiken has been a frequent visitor to Good Morning America.  The show combines morning news and talk and is broadcast on the ABC television network.  The week-day program airs for two hours each morning.  The show started in 1975 and has a long and exciting history of wonderful interviews and great musical guests.

GMA broadcasts from Times Square, New York and often, they will travel a few blocks to Bryant Park to present their musical concerts.

On July 2, 2004, Clay performed as a part of GMA’s Summer Concert Series.  He talked briefly with Diane Sawyer and then sang 3 songs.  His mother, Faye Parker was called up on the stage to be introduced to the audience.  The crowd was reported to be the largest audience for the GMA Concert Series.

It will be wonderful when Clay has another opportunity to perform on GMA.  The next few weeks would be a great time to see Clay there.

SueReu put together some videos of the 2004 Clay concert.  They are really fun to see.

  1. I am hoping that Clay will have an appearance on GMA to promote his new CD Tried and True. He has always had a great response from his many appearances on the program. Just wish Diane Sawyer was still on to welcome him back. Love seeing the vids of his 2004 appearance again.

  2. Thank you for posting those videos. I loved it when Clay Aiken was on GMA. I haven't watched those videos for a good while. What great memories!!!!!!!!!

  3. I became a Clay fan later in the game so I always love posts like this so that I can catch the excitement from the beginning. I hope he gets an appearance on GMA also. Anywhere we can hear that beautiful voice!
