Clay Aiken – Did You See Clay?

Did you watch the Golden Globes last night?  Did you see Clay?  Did you see the colorful young man throw up his hands?  Was he frustrated?  Probably, but he didn’t look mad.

No…Clay was not in Hollywood attending the Golden Globes…he was probably in front of his TV wondering when the commercial for Celebrity Apprentice would be shown.

I sure hope there are more of these fun commercials…and, can we wish for some TV appearances to let everyone know that they need to tune in to the best season of Celebrity Apprentice in February?

“We will not resort to violence.

We will not degrade ourselves with hatred.
Love will not be returned with hate.”

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day is a day of remembrance established by the U.S. government to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as his birthday is on Jan. 15.

The day is observed on the third Monday of January each year and gives us a day to reflect on the monumental changes that one man set in motion.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was born on January 15, 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia. King, a Baptist Preacher and American Civil Rights Leader, preached non-violence and worked to bring about social, political and economic equality for African-American citizens. His eloquent pleas for racial justice in the 1950’s and 1960’s won the support of millions of people both black and white. He won the Nobel Peace prize in 1964 for leading the black struggle for equality through non-violence

King was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, posthumously in 1977 for his efforts in fighting prejudice. And in 1986 The United States Congress established a national holiday to honor Doctor King. It is held the third Monday in January.

Take a moment today and think about Martin Luther King Jr.  He changed all our lives!

  1. yes, I saw the commercial last night, but I had to wait until it was captured, as I am in Canada, and they didn't show it up here. I don't think Clay looks mad at all…I'm with you Musicfan, he looks frustrated. I cannot wait for CApp to air…This ought to be interesting!!!!!! lol Happy Martin Luther King day everyone… YOU CAN CHANGE THE WORLD……. with positive energy and love…anything can be accomplished…. Thanks for the reminder!!!!!

  2. I saw the commercial after the fact thanks to our clack gatherers. I'm even more excited now after seeing that very brief clip of Clay in action.

  3. Thanks for the video. I missed seeing the commercial on TV, but did see it later!
Celebrity Apprentice is going to be so much fun!

  4. I don't know where I was when the commercial aired. Thanks so much for posting it here. I am so excited for the show to begin!
Also, glad you wrote about Martin Luther King. He did so much to change our world for the better!

  5. I saw it after the fact also.. I didnt remember about the Golden Globes until a little ways into it. Exciting that the promo is starting.

  6. I saw it and then suffered through the rest of the Golden Globes hoping for MORE! but alas. I don't think Clay looks angry either – frustrated is a much better word. Cannot WAIT!

  7. I missed the original ad…but, I watched the Video. Yep, Clay was throwing up his hands in frustration at someone or something. Seeing that makes me want to see TCA start even sooner. Looks like a lot of things will be going on. Can't wait.

Also, thank you for the information on Martin Luther King. Very interesting. He made sure there was more equality…but, I think we still have a lot more to do on that subject. Hope it improves.
