In just a few hours, before the sun comes up, I will be on my way from California to Washington D.C. and the National Inclusion Project Gala. I am so excited. I will meet with some wonderful friends, see my nation’s capital, enjoy some performances by four wonderful artists and support my favorite charity! How could it be any better?
I have my computer, my phone, and even my new iPad. I will do everything I can to keep you posted about what is happening in the world of Clay Aiken. I do hope you will have a bit of patience since my schedule will be a bit different. I do hope that you will help out by visiting and responding. We need to keep the positive messages at the top of Google!
The following are a few memories of what Clay Aiken was doing on October 17, 2003.
Clay was in the middle of the promotional tour for Measure of A Man. On 10/17 he was guest on The View.
Highlight:
1. Meredith Viera did the entire interview dressed up as a hot dog. (I don’t remember why)
2. A fan wrote a letter asking how Clay smelled!! After lots of laughter, a “smell expert” came up and carefully smelled Clay around the neck area. He said it was a very fresh smell. Clay looked very uncomfortable with the smell section of the interview.
3. Clay talked about all the attention he was getting and claimed he had no idea why everyone screamed for him. He mentioned that a few years ago, no one ever screamed for him!
4. Clay ended the segment by singing Invisible.
