Clay Aiken – Supporting His Friends

I like it when we get new pictures of Clay Aiken from unexpected sources.  Saturday evening, Clay’s friend, Ken Arpino sent the following tweet:

Yes, that’s Clay with his fellow Joseph brother, Drew King.  King is currently touring in the musical, Elf.  The production was in Raleigh Friday night.  Thank you, Ken, for forwarding the picture to Clay’s fans!

Clay Aiken seems to be so very supportive of his friends. On Saturday, Clay tweeted about his friend, Paul Teutul Sr.

Paul has been the star of the television show, Orange County Choppers since 2007 on TLC (The Learning Channel).  This year, the show is making some changes.  According to a Network TV Press Release:

The world’s most renowned custom motorcycle manufacturer and its fearless leader return to television in ORANGE COUNTY CHOPPERS, a new eight-episode series produced by Pilgrim Studios and premiering on CMT on November 16th.  With OCC revitalized in killer style, the show follows Paul Teutul Sr. (“Senior”) and his team as they reach new extremes resulting in mind-blowing bikes and, of course, state-of-the-art drama…

…Known for his mustache, tattooed biceps and sleeveless tees, Senior has been at the helm of OCC for over ten years.  In the ‘70s, he was running a steel manufacturing business when he started building motorcycles as a hobby.  In 1999, Senior turned his passion project into a fabrication shop he called Orange Country Choppers.  Today, the company that began as a side operation has become a world-famous empire.  Senior can also add author to his repertoire; in 2010 he published The Ride of a Lifetime: Doing Business the Orange County Choppers Way, a guide to business success that also chronicles his nearly 40 years of experience in the business world…

Clay got to know Paul in 2011/12 when they were both contestants on the reality show, Celebrity Apprentice.  Do you remember Paul?

I think Clay is an amazing friend.  He certainly goes out of his way to support his friends!

Have you ever watched Paul’s show, Orange County Choppers?

  1. How fun to see the new picture of Clay. Thank you to Ken…and to Musicfan for bringing it here.

I do remember Paul Sr. He was much nicer than I expected – however, I have never seen his show on TV. It's really not my kind of show.

I think I would love to have Clay as a friend!

  2. I too would love to have Clay as my best friend. Can't go wrong there now, can you! I had to look twice at the photo above Paul Sr. Forgot Clay DOES wear glasses, even tho he hardly wears them anymore. I also have not seen Paul Sr.'s show. I knew who he was when he appeared on Celebrity Apprentice, and he turned out to be such a nice guy. No wonder Clay calls him a friend!

  3. It’s so fun to see Clay visiting with friends. I haven’t watched Choppers but I thought Paul was surprisingly nice. I do love the diverse friends Clay makes.

  5. Thanks to handsome Ken for the tweet & photo of Clay. I remember Paul T. but the only time I saw him was on Celeb. App. I'm not into motorcycles. Clay is always supportive of his friends. Wonder why Arsinio has never had Clay on his late night program?
