Clay Aiken is spending the morning participating in Read Across America. According to his tweets, he is at J S Waters School in Goldston. The school is celebrating by having a Read-A-thon.

Here at JS Waters we have future police officers, veterinarians, singers, and even a forensic scientist. It all starts in the classroom.
This is not a first time event for Clay.
In 2004, Clay Aiken participated in Read Across America.
He visited an elementary school, donned a red and white Dr. Seuss hat and read to a lucky classroom of students.
I commend Clay for taking time out of his busy schedule to spend time with the students at J S Waters School.

I hope we all help him get elected , we all need people like him in congress, someone who really cares….I will send more in another couple of weeks…..
So nice to see Clay being a teacher again. Maybe the students will go home and talk to their parents about what a special day they had with Clay reading to them. Clay can make a difference in DC for NC.

Clay also did a terrific job as one of the readers on a celebrity "Arthur Stories" CD that benefited the Reading is Fundamental Program. It is available used on amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/Arthur-Celebrity-Audiobook-…. There are enhanced games and puzzles, along with the stories which are in a read-along video/audio format.
