Clay Aiken – News, Fun, And A Challenge!

On Thursday Morning, Nick Leisey, the new Executive Director of the National Inclusion Project sent out an exciting email.

Nick said in his e-mail:

…Each one of you are a part of the National Inclusion Project family, and on November 30th, I will have the humbling opportunity to join this family as Executive Director.
Joining the National Inclusion Project team is a dream-come-true. Impacting the lives of children has always been a part of who I am. It’s the reason I became a YMCA counselor, it’s absolutely the reason I became a teacher, and I believe this drives my purpose moving forward…

On November 30th, Nick Leisey will begin as the new Executive Director of the National Inclusion Project, and we want to celebrate!

November 30th will also be our co-founder Clay Aiken’s 37th Birthday! Help us celebrate by making a donation between Nov 30 – Dec 4 in honor of him!

Nick also reminded us that there was something else to celebrate on November 30th – It will be Clay Aiken’s 37th birthday.  To celebrate the two exciting events, The National Inclusion Project has a challenge for all of us…to help raise $15,000 in 5 days and send 50 kids to camp!  He said:

AND if we are able to reach this goal of $15,000 from Nov 30th to Dec 4th, not only will we be supporting the valuable work of the Project and giving 50 more children with and without disabilities the opportunity to attend an inclusive camp, but Clay has enthusiastically agreed to give something back to each of you as a way to say THANK YOU. If we hit our goal of $15,000 and sending 50 kids to camp, he will release another long hidden song to the public. (And before some of you ask, the song is “Glory of Love”!) It’s a Win – Win – Win!

What a great challenge from The National Inclusion Project.  We get to help kids and get a wonderful new recording from Clay Aiken.

I do hope each of you will be able to help the National Inclusion Project bring a bit of happiness to some wonderful kids!  I will post all the information about how to donate to make sure you are a part of the fun.  Or, in a few days you can get the information at the Projects FACEBOOKPAGE or their TWITTERPAGE  or their WEBSITE .   Of course, I will remind a you few times between Nov. 30th thru Dec. 4th.  I am already excited to see us work hard for this campaign…and it’s a perfect way to show our thanks in the holiday season.  By the way, please pass the word around. This is a big challenge and we need all the help we can get.  Thanks to all of you!!

  1. Oh I sure am on board cos I am going to be donating! I want another song that must have found hiding on his computer!!!! Thanks for all the great info martha!!! Eeeeeee! Clay is gonna be everywhere!!!

    • gaymarie1, did Clay give out a copy of a song at the Inclusion Fund Raiser Banquet? Maybe I missed people talking about it. Just curious.

      • yes he did Paula. I think it was called Anchor Me. If people that didn't come to the Gala donated 250 dollars from home, they would get it too!

  2. Nick and Clay have been friends since childhood and it's great that he's the new director of "The National Inclusion Project". Spreading the joy of raising money for the kids and in honor of Clay's birthday, I will do all I can to help. Looking forward to " The Third Rail" this Sunday. Seems they love having Clay on again to express his opinions on current events. Thank you, for all you do!
