This week-end is one of the times that I celebrate living in California! I can’t even imagine how difficult it must be to live though a storm like Jonas.
I hope that all of our CANN friends…from the Carolinas to New York, are safe and comfortable!
According to CNN, there were:
• 25.1 inches of snow at Central Park, the third-largest snowfall on record.
• 7,421 flights canceled for Saturday and Sunday, according to FlightAware.com.
• More than 150,000 people are without power.
In New York, the theaters of Broadway were effected by the snowstorm. All Broadway shows, both matinees and evening performances, were cancelled Saturday after New York state officials declared a weather emergency.
Because of an official travel ban in New York and the suspension of public transportation, Broadway producers and theater owners were forced to close all theaters.
Charlotte St. Martin is the president of The Broadway League. She said:
We expect normal operations to resume for tomorrow’s Sunday matinees.
I would imagine that Clay Aiken is glad that he is in London right now and missing all the snowy mess. I think he can see London easily in the 57 degree weather.
Do you remember these times when Clay dressed for the cold?
Hats, Gloves, Scarves, Heavy coats…yep…it looks like Clay would be OK!!
Everyone…Please be safe!
Unbelieveable! I’m so glad to live in Texas right now. My sister is in Philly and she sent pictures. BRR!! Hope everyone is safe and warm!
I'm hoping all are safe, too! The east coast was hit hard, but I notice the kids are having fun sleighing and building snowmen! As always, Clay looks great in his winter gear; thanks for the pictures! Clay maybe back in New York, Monday!
