Clay Aiken – He Sang, Danced, And Joked!

It is always fun when I look back and find something that I just have to watch on YouTube…it’s even better when it is about Clay Aiken. I think you all will enjoy it too.

Think back…The West Wing, Perfect Strangers, Full House.  These are just a few of the songs that Clay sang, danced, and joked about in his TV Medley.  That was way back in the summer of 2007.  The tour, named the Soft rock in a Hard Place by fans, made a stop in Chautauqua, New York and Clay seemed to be having a great time on stage.

Chautauqua is located in the southwestern most corner of New York State.  The area is known as a vacation center for families.  The region is known for its natural beauty that is blended with a large variety of unique cultural attractions.

Clay  performed at the famous Chautauqua Institute in their Amphitheater.  The Institute is a not-for-profit, 750-acre educational center beside Chautauqua Lake in southwestern New York State, where approximately 7,500 persons are in residence on any day during a nine-week season, and a total of over 142,000 attend scheduled public events. Over 8,000 students enroll annually in the Chautauqua Summer Schools that offer courses in art, music, dance, theater, writing skills and a wide variety of special interests.

The following videos are great fun.

The TV Medley was full of great singing and lots of laughs!

I hope you enjoy it even if it is a few years old!!

Well…what do you think?

I bet you smiled a lot!!

  1. Last night we watched "Perfect Strangers" on Hulu and the instant the theme song played I would think about the time Clay did his TV Theme Songs segment of his SRHP tour! Thank you CANN for sharing on this new Monday morning!

  2. My friends are going up to Chautauqua in Aug. I forwarded this to them so they could see what the amphitheater is like. Saw Clay in this concert when he was on the road back in 2007. Good old days.

  3. Yeah they were the good old days . Clay seemed to have so much fun I just miss his concerts and that GREAT voice.

  4. OMG! I remember this. I was at the Chautauqua show. I was even one of the meet and greet winners. He’s just awesome
