Clay Aiken – A Fun Memory

Don’t dream it, be it. ~ The Rocky Horror Picture Show

~~~~~
The song, Chain of Fools was written in 1953 by Don Covay, an R&B singer who wrote songs that were recorded by many singers.
The song is about a woman who realizes she is one of many girls in her boyfriend’s “Chain.” Even though she knows this can never last, she sticks with him anyway.
Do you remember when Clay Aiken sang Chain of Fools?  It was in 2004 when Clay was on his Solo Tour.  Quiana Parler was the lead in the song for much of the performance and it was amazing.
The following video is one I have not seen in quite a time.
I hope you enjoy it!
Did you see Clay perform this live?
  1. Yes, I did see this live in Detroit, Michigan! Could hardly believe what I was hearing and seeing – The girls and Clay were fantastic and it was such an exciting show! My first Clay Concert and I was hooked!
    Thank you for the pic and video – such a great memory!
    • I've never seen this before. I wasn't around at that time. I know Clay is fabulous but I've never seen these moves before. He can get down!!
      I enjoyed this tremendously. Thank you for posting it.
  2. Quiana and Clay “rocked the house” with “Chain of Fools”! Angela and Clay have the “moves” and Jacob blew the roof off with his saxaphone!
    Thank you, CANN for giving my morning a “rocking” start!
  3. A great performance by Clay & 'the girls'. I have a photo album of this visit by Clay to our Ohio State Fair in Aug. 2004. Still smiling after watching this video.
