It is May 2nd – I don’t know about you, but I need some laughter!
I hope todays post makes you feel a bit better ~
Thanks to Clay!
Laughter is by definition healthy.
We laugh a lot. That’s for sure. Sure beats the alternative, doesn’t it?
Laughter gives us distance. It allows us to step back from an event, deal with it and then move on.
Laugh at yourself first, before anyone else can.
You cannot be mad at somebody who makes you laugh – it’s as simple as that.
Always laugh when you can. It is cheap medicine.
You don’t stop laughing because you grow old. You grow old because you stop laughing.
To truly laugh, you must be able to take your pain, and play with it!
Most comedy is based on getting a laugh at somebody else’s expense. And I find that that’s just a form of bullying in a major way. So I want to be an example that you can be funny and be kind, and make people laugh without hurting somebody else’s feelings.
If you can’t laugh at yourself, then how can you laugh at anybody else? I think people see the human side of you when you do that.
Have you laughed today?
