American Idol Season 2 –
It was the most watched and closest season in the history of American Idol.
The second season premiered on January 21, 2003, and continued until May 21, 2003.
Around 70,000 attended the auditions in season 2 and 234 were selected to proceed on to the Hollywood round.
But…it’s been 18 years since Season 2 of AI and to be perfectly honest, I don’t think about anyone in that season except Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard.
Fortunately, there are some great fans who have put together some wonderful videos of Clay and Ruben. Today, we are featuring a beautiful video by the talented SueReu. It isn’t new, but it is a great showcase of Clay and Ruben!

Two talented musicians indeed – I will always be partial to Clay but love Ruben, too! They are amazing apart but wonderful together, also. I am delighted in their friendship after all of these years. Now that is the way to begin a cold, icy morning…Clay & Ruben back in the day singing their hearts out for the fans. It's hard to believe that was 2003, 18 yrs ago! Thanks to SueReu & CANN for the wonderful memories.
