On April 30th, Clay Aiken was a guest at a wonderful and exciting event at The Blue Note Grill. This place in Durham has great BBQ, Ribs, and some of the best live music.
The free event, billed as “Rally for a Better Bull City” wanted to excite voters and Aiken supporters ahead of the May 17th primary, provide early vote information, and encourage supporters to cast their ballots before early voting ends.
Thomas McDonald is a writer at the press site – Indy Week. He said:
US House of Representatives candidate and former American Idol standout Clay Aiken will reunite with 2003 American Idol winner Ruben Studdard in the Bull City on Saturday for a different kind of gig.
The two American Idol stalwarts will deliver a late-morning performance at the Blue Note Grill in downtown Durham’s NoCo District.

There were many people at the event and everyone seemed to be serious about the vote in May, but they all seemed to have fun hearing Clay speak and sing some too.
Ruben Studdard and Quiana Parler joined Clay and the audience enjoyed all three of them.
I will add a few more pictures of Clay today. AND……if you find more information, please send me the info and I will post it!
NOW……..I hope that my dear computer will continue to work well.

So good to see Clay & friends and CANN again. We ate at the Blue Note Grill many years ago when we went to see Clay tape the PBS special. Hope the voters of NC choose this really good man to represent them in Congress.
