Yesterday was Tuesday, May 17th. It was a voting day for the state of North Carolina.
The voting was closed at 7PM and Clay had a lovely “thank you for helping” party.
As the evening continued, we all knew that the results of the evening were not showing up the way we had hoped for. There were no tears just a wonderful group who were proud of Clay and the way he ran his campaign.
A BIG THANK YOU to CLAY AIKEN for all the hard work and dedication you have shown to the citizens of District 4.
No one could work harder or with more dedication that you have had for the entire campaign!
We will be watching to see what will be your next job so that we can be there to support you!
In 2016, Clay said the following :
My voice will not be silenced. I will continue to use my platform to speak up for what I believe.
~~ Clay Aiken~~
I thought I would like to hear Clay sing a beautiful song…so hold on…it’s right here!
Thank you for the pictures and the video. Great song, voice and person.
After the voting was over yesterday, I kept trying to find out how Clay did. I didn’t have any luck last evening, but got up this morning at 6:30 am and found the results on my computer. I’m sorry that Clay didn’t win, but he did come in 3rd out of 7. Listening to him sing Solitare makes me feel better.
Clay would have made a great congressman because he truly cares about people and North Carolina! He is still young and I hope that some day he will represent our state. Love this man!
