Tuesday, June 21, 2022 is the summer solstice and the longest day of the year. This is the day that the sun shines directly on the Tropic of Cancer, an imaginary line north of the equator. After the 21st, the days will get shorter by about a minute or so each day until we reach the autumnal equinox, when day and night become even.
So…that means it’s time to enjoy vacations, great weather, pools, baseballs, and everything else that goes along with the summer months!
How will Clay Aiken celebrate the first day of summer? Well, he is probably working hard on the last minutes of The Man In Chair (on the stage). It’s hard to know for sure.
Whatever his schedule is, I hope he has a great day!!
When I think of Clay and summer, I remember the wonderful concert he gave on July 2, 2004. The concert was part of the Summer Concert Series for Good Morning America. The outdoor concert was held at Bryant Park in New York City. Thousands of fans came to watch!
Watch Clay Aiken perform I will Carry You
Happy Summer!!!
Loved watching this video – remember watching it on TV and so excited to see so many fans cheering Clay on. He was so loved and still is by the fans that knew they would be forever fans! Thank you for this summer show!
Happy Summer. Thank you for all the pictures and the video. I love them all. It has been a long time since I saw this video. Thanks for the memories. Thank you CANN.
I was still working when Clay was on GMA, so I took a small tube TV to work with me and put it in the file room behind my desk. I was able to check it and watch Clay perform that morning. Those were the days!
